Best sandy beach on the North Shore of Oahu

Groceries

Costco is on the way from the airport. Take the Ka Uka exit off the H2 freeway.

Foodland is 1 mile north of the property on Kamehameha Hwy

Malama Market is in Haleiwa

Celestial- small health food store Haleiwa

Farmer's Markets

Waimea Valley: Thursdays 2pm-6pm- mix of crafts, prepared foods and local produce.

Waialua Sugar Mill: Saturdays 8:30am

North Shore Country Market: Saturdays 8am at Sunset Beach Elementary across from Ehukai Park (Pipeline)

Snorkeling/scuba

In the summertime, the snorkeling in front of the house can be wonderful. Other places on the North Shore to go are: 3 tables (just before you get to Foodland) and Shark's Cove which is across the street from Foodland.
